Cooking isn't easy for guys with less creativity. This is what I can say. The dishes which you make just depends on your imagination. It is not like what I have depicted here and you have to do so. The more you cook, the more you learn!! Coming to me. I was just a layman in cooking when I was married an year ago. When I restarted my career as a full time housewife, I just concentrated on sprucing up my sweet home and pamper my lovely husband ;) In that process I say I have learnt a bit of cooking and many of my relatives like it too. :)
